Visiting the website
We use Cloudflare to deliver and protect this website. Requests involve technical information such as your IP address, the requested URL, time of access, browser information and response details. This information is used to deliver pages, maintain service availability and investigate abuse. Cloudflare may provide traffic statistics and security records through its dashboard.
Our legal basis for necessary delivery and security processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure website. Connection information is necessary to provide the pages you request.
The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare distinguishes processing on behalf of its customers from processing for its own network and security purposes. See its privacy policy and data processing addendum.
Cookies and tracking
Our website code does not set cookies or use browser storage. We do not include advertising pixels, visitor analytics scripts, external fonts or embedded media. Cloudflare may use security cookies when security challenges or related protections are applied. Its cookie documentation describes these features and their lifetimes.
There is no newsletter registration, customer account or checkout on this version of the website. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy information.
Email and telephone contact
When you contact us, we process your contact details and the information you provide to respond and handle your request. Email can include your name, address, message, attachments and delivery metadata. Messages to our public email address are forwarded by Porkbun LLC to a Gmail inbox operated by Google.
For general correspondence, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering inquiries. Where your request concerns a contract with you or steps you ask us to take before entering one, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. Providing information is voluntary, but we need sufficient details to handle your request. Please send only information relevant to your inquiry.
Porkbun and Google process email information as part of delivering, securing and storing messages under their respective service conditions. See Porkbun's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy. The mailbox uses the consumer Gmail service, not Google Workspace.
International processing
Our providers operate internationally, including in the United States. Their published safeguards differ: Cloudflare and Google describe reliance on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses where applicable; Porkbun describes safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or applicable exceptions. Retention
We retain correspondence while it is needed to handle the request and any related follow-up. We delete information when that purpose ends, unless a legal retention duty or a concrete need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims requires keeping it longer. In those cases, retention is limited to the relevant records and purpose.
Provider-held technical and security data follow the providers' retention rules. Cloudflare describes purpose, security needs and legal obligations as retention criteria; it does not specify one universal period for all traffic data. Porkbun and Google also apply different periods according to the data and purpose. Their policies explain these criteria.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Please use our contact details above.
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
